Summary
Join our client, a dynamic and growing company in the cybersecurity training field, as their new Business Development Representative (BDR)! This fully remote position (9 AM - 5 PM EST) focuses on driving sales by generating leads and scheduling meetings for the sales team. You will conduct outbound outreach, research prospects, qualify leads, and maintain CRM systems. The ideal candidate possesses proven outbound sales experience, strong communication skills, and CRM proficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity for career growth within a rapidly expanding company.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development
- Strong communication skills in English (clear and professional accent)
- Experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow
- Comfortable with cold calling, researching prospects, and booking meetings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calling, emails, and other forms of outreach to generate new business opportunities
- Research companies and individuals within the target market to identify decision-makers
- Qualify leads and book meetings with prospects for the sales team
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead information and progress
- Develop and manage lists of prospective clients using tools like ZoomInfo
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads
- Track outreach efforts, including emails, calls, and meetings
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities
- Help manage and optimize the lead generation process
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the cybersecurity or tech training industries
- Previous experience working in a B2B sales environment
- Familiarity with lead generation tools, such as ZoomInfo
- Knowledge of sales techniques and best practices for cold outreach
