Business Intelligence Engineer

As a Business Intelligence professional, you will partner with stakeholders and technical teams to design and develop efficient visualization and reporting solutions. You will gather business requirements, design and develop reporting solutions, and ensure BI infrastructure conforms to security standards. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 4-6 years of experience, and strong SQL and visualization skills. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 4 to 6 years of experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing, business intelligence, data visualization tools, techniques and technology
• Having practical knowledge about data warehouse, modeling and data mart concepts, including star and snowflake schemas
• Experience with visualization tools like Looker, Tableau and PowerBI etc
• Excellent visualization skills and be able to convey customer data in an intuitive and visually compelling way
• Intimately familiar with best practices around data visualization
• Strong SQL skills
• Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation; must be able to work collaboratively with end users and other technical teams
• Advanced level of English

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical team to design and develop efficient visualization and reporting solutions
• Work on gathering business requirements, design and develop reporting solutions, perform user acceptance testing with end users and deployment
• Collaborate with data engineers to establish end-to-end data and information delivery architecture
• Ensure BI infrastructure conforms to security standards and that appropriate access controls are in place
• Work on tuning and performance improvement of relevant reports and dashboards
• Understand different datasets and perform ETL to prepare data for efficient data consumption

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Google Cloud is a plus
