Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and data wrangling
  • Good working knowledge of Airflow and GitHub
  • Experience with Snowflake or any other relational database
  • Experience with design and development of ETL processes
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Superset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate sophisticated data concepts to non-technical partners
  • Proficient in using JIRA and adept at orchestrating analytical projects
  • Strong multitasking abilities coupled with an agile approach
  • Experience in understanding and translating ambiguous and sophisticated business problems into data solutions and communicating findings to the leadership
  • High energy and contagious passion; willing to take on tough projects

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements to design data models and build data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
  • Translate business problems into data questions, find solutions to solve those questions with resourcefulness while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
  • Create and manage data dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insight into key business metrics
  • See opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data workflows
  • Evaluate new data sources and tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the data analytics team
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security in accordance with company policies and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies in data analytics, and find opportunities for improvement in data processes and methodologies

Experience with statistical modelling background
