Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data analysis and data wrangling
- Good working knowledge of Airflow and GitHub
- Experience with Snowflake or any other relational database
- Experience with design and development of ETL processes
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Superset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate sophisticated data concepts to non-technical partners
- Proficient in using JIRA and adept at orchestrating analytical projects
- Strong multitasking abilities coupled with an agile approach
- Experience in understanding and translating ambiguous and sophisticated business problems into data solutions and communicating findings to the leadership
- High energy and contagious passion; willing to take on tough projects
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements to design data models and build data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
- Translate business problems into data questions, find solutions to solve those questions with resourcefulness while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Create and manage data dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insight into key business metrics
- See opportunities for process improvement and automation to streamline data workflows
- Evaluate new data sources and tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the data analytics team
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security in accordance with company policies and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standard methodologies in data analytics, and find opportunities for improvement in data processes and methodologies
