Business Intelligence Engineer Senior

Summary

Join Encora's Analytics team in Brazil as a Business Intelligence Engineer to develop and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines. You will drive performance enhancements, build pipelines, and collaborate with the team using cutting-edge big data technologies. This full-time, work-from-home position requires experience with data warehousing, reporting, and various BI and analytics tools. The successful candidate will support BI development, data warehouse maintenance, and the creation of new data marts and reports. You will also evaluate and compare different BI and analytics tools to support architecture upgrades.

Requirements

• Experience with Data Warehouse and reporting
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and query languages
• Strong knowledge and experience with working reporting tools such as Sisense, SSRS, Tableau, QlikView, Power BI
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, Talend
• Experience with modern data platforms and tools like Redshift, Snowflake, Aurora, postgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Supporting BI development and maintenance activities as well as Analytics and Reporting needs for different product lines
• Support data warehouse (DW) development, maintenance and modernization
• Develop new data marts by working closely with internal teams to gather requirements
• Design and develop new reports for the internal stake-holders
• Evaluate and compare various BI and Analytics tools to support the BI architecture upgrade activities
