Business Systems Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Business Analyst supporting DPCAP in creating Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Duties include gathering requirements, writing and reviewing documentation, collaborating with developers, conducting functional testing of reports, team communication, leadership support, and documenting non-reporting requirements. Requirements include 2+ years in a related role, experience working in a multi-functional environment, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, project management skills, ability to work on DoD Contracts, and experience with specific BI/Analytic tools. The job is remote within the National Capitol Region (50 mile Radius) and requires a Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a business analysis, processes, procedures, functions, or product management role
• Experience working in a multi-functional environment alongside developers, database engineers, designers, and analysts
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to translate technical findings to Senior Leaders in a manner that is easily understandable to those less experienced with analytics
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly documentation concerns
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive to resolution, engaging support as necessary
• Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to ask questions, do research, make decisions and complete assigned work with sometimes ambiguous requirements
• Experience working on DoD Contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development, Scrum is a plus
