Summary

Join Affirm's FinSys team as a Financial Systems Administrator, where you'll be the day-to-day owner of our core accounting systems, NetSuite & Zip. You will manage and maintain these systems, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to our accounting and company-wide user base. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining workflows, reports, and automations, developing training materials, and ensuring SOX compliance. This techno-functional role requires a minimum of 5 years of NetSuite administration experience and NetSuite Administrator Certification. Requirements

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a NetSuite administrator
  • Proficiency in SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, and SuiteTalk
  • Experience with NetSuite Fixed Assets Module and OneWorld modules
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and provide solutions from design to implementation, ensuring optimal performance
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to adapt and learn new skills in a highly flexible environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the NetSuite (ERP) platform, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals
  • Provide Tier 1 support for our accounting department - resolving incidents, answering questions, and directing to knowledge base documentation, as applicable
  • Provide Tier 2 support for our accounting department - troubleshooting system configurations, data import/export issues, and identifying root cause of system errors
  • Design and maintain workflows and customizations using SuiteBuilder and SuiteScript, in alignment with industry best practices
  • Design and maintain reports using saved searches and analytics workbooks, in alignment with industry best practices
  • Assist the Business Systems Manager in developing customizations and writing SuiteScripts to enable cross-system automations
  • Develop training materials and documentation specific to Affirm processes in Notion
  • Manage and maintain the Zip (Procure to Pay) platform, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business goals
  • Provide Tier 1 support for our company-wide user base by answering user questions and assisting with general usability
  • Provide Tier 2 support for company-wide user base by creating reports, troubleshooting system errors & data integrity issues
  • Develop training materials and documentation specific to Affirm processes in Notion
  • Perform daily FloQast administration duties, including user and role maintenance, configuration maintenance, and NetSuite integration maintenance
  • Build out the FinSys Knowledge Base by documenting internal helpdesk and admin processes
  • Execute and support SOX compliance initiatives related to user access reviews to ensure access is appropriate and in line with the principle of least privilege
  • Conduct regular change management reviews to verify that system changes are properly documented, authorized, and tested before implementation
  • Collaborate with internal audit and compliance teams to ensure financial systems meet SOX reporting requirements and to address any compliance risks

Preferred Qualifications

  • SuiteCloud or Application Developer Certification preferred
  • Experience with the SuiteCloud Development Framework and version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
  • Experience administering other financial systems, preferably FloQast and Zip Procurement
