Remote Camera Monitoring Operator

Summary

Join our live video monitoring center as a Camera Monitoring Operator to monitor live video feeds, edit video footage, and produce detailed reports. The ideal candidate will have keen observation skills, proficiency in video editing software, excellent reporting abilities, and strong email communications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or video editing preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Good spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor live video feeds from multiple locations to detect suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards
• Ensure all cameras are functioning correctly and report any technical issues immediately
• Respond promptly to incidents by alerting relevant personnel and/or authorities per established protocols
• Edit, compile, and transfer video footage for incident reports, investigations, or training purposes
• Generate detailed incident reports that include video evidence, time stamps, and narrative descriptions
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents and actions taken during shifts
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly summary reports as required
• Provide clear and concise updates on ongoing monitoring activities and incidents
• Use phone to dispatch for events and respond to inquiries via phone or email
• Communicate effectively via email with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on improving monitoring processes and protocols
