Join Dexterra Group, a growing company, as a Camp Administrator! Reporting to the Camp Manager, you will play a key managerial role supporting daily camp operations and managing front desk services. This remote position offers all meals, accommodations, and travel from designated locations. Responsibilities include managing room bookings, compiling reports, providing coaching, handling inquiries, and assisting with camp activities. The role requires exceptional communication skills, computer proficiency, and a valid government-issued photo ID and criminal record check. Requirements
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, GFS, etc.)
- A team-player who is committed to providing client satisfaction
- Must have valid government issued photo ID for travel to site
- Must have an acceptable Criminal Records Check
- Be able to handle the following physical demands: Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Climb ladders or stairs
- Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time
- Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands
- Perform work with arms at full length
- Work with arms above shoulder height
Responsibilities
- Manage all room bookings; client check-ins and check outs
- Compile weekly occupancy reports, variance reports, forecast occupancy based on reservations
- Provide reports to Camp Manger and client
- Provide coaching to all staff to ensure quality customer service and performance is provided to all guests and when interacting with our client
- Development of housing desk duties and responsibilities β accountability for team
- Answer inquiries regarding all departments within Housing from guests and the client
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing special requests and concerns in a prompt and effective manner
- Updating spending tracking sheets, camp billing, accounting and invoicing
- Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the camp
Preferred Qualifications
- Camp, hotel, or restaurant management experience is an asset
- Knowledge of kitchen operations is an asset
- Current Food Safety certification and First Aid certification is an asset
