Summary

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience selling to small and mid-sized businesses (up to 1,000 lives)
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive SMB landscape
  • Experience collaborating with consulting firms that assist employers in evaluating and implementing new benefits solutions
  • Outstanding communication skills (both interpersonal and presentation) with a strong ability to build relationships and close deals
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to manage sales processes and customer interactions effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, working collaboratively to drive results and enhance client satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Manage a Robust Sales Pipeline: Proactively identify and engage potential clients, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to close deals and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Build Trust and Relationships: Act as a consultative partner to SMB clients as well as their benefit broker, understanding their unique challenges and offering tailored solutions that address their specific needs
  • Conduct Effective Discovery and Demonstrations: Become an expert on Carrot's product, leading discovery calls, delivering customized demos, and presenting compelling proposals to prospective customers
  • Articulate Value Clearly: Communicate Carrot’s unique value proposition effectively, ensuring that prospects understand the strengths and benefits of our offerings
  • Collaborate and Forecast: Work closely with team members to strategize on sales approaches and accurately forecast revenue
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently hit and exceed annual revenue targets through strategic planning and execution
