Requirements

  • Experience defining and executing an enterprise GTM strategy for a healthcare technology company driving hundreds of millions in annual revenue each year and managing 9-figure bookings targets
  • Extensive experience with recurring revenue models and subscription sales
  • Proven track record of success in senior leadership roles, with substantial experience in sales, marketing, reimbursement, and business development in the healthcare industry
  • Experience negotiating contracts with commercial partners and driving commercial success at fast-growth startups, specifically in regulated healthcare markets
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth, and customer acquisition through innovative approaches
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team, including sales, marketing, retention, and market access. Set clear targets and provide guidance to achieve commercial goals. Implement best practices for sales and marketing processes, pipeline management, and performance metrics
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams. Foster relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Analyze and offer creative strategies to introduce Datavant products to existing US markets, including partnerships with health systems, large clinician group practices, pharmaceutical companies, payers, and third-party entities
  • Working closely with the General Manager and Product leadership conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Utilize insights to refine and enhance product offerings, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans
  • Collaborate closely with operations, product, and cross-functional teams to align commercial efforts with overall business objectives. Champion a culture of teamwork and collaboration across the organization
  • Establish systems to monitor KPIs, sales forecasts, and financial targets to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement effective reporting mechanisms to track progress and provide regular updates to the executive team
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to commercial operations, pricing, contracts, and market fluctuations. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
