Chief of Staff

Summary

Join Idera, Inc., a rapidly growing global B2B software company, as their Chief of Staff. This high-visibility role offers a path to managing all departmental operations of a software business, encompassing operational and strategic responsibilities. You will execute growth and operating initiatives, analyze data to identify improvement opportunities, and lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, persistent, and possesses excellent communication skills. Experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or business operations at a software company is preferred. This position is located anywhere in the United States and reports to the YellowFin brand.

Requirements

• Demonstrate that you are highly-analytical, resourceful, persistent, take initiative, and possess excellent communication skills
• Have a Bachelor's degree in business, Finance and/or MBA
• Have a Learner’s Mindset: Desire to learn and adapt in a rapidly-growing and changing environment
• Focus on Results: Results matter. Idera rewards those who deliver – you should be a self-starter that is motivated by achieving outstanding results
• Possess Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to build complex financial models with advanced Excel skills.  You must know how to ask the right questions of data and the persistence to obtain and present the data in a clear way
• Have Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills: You write clear emails, create organized and compelling PowerPoint slides, and can lead a team call
• Possess Resourcefulness/Persistence: An ability to identify opportunities and find a way to get things across the finish line
• Have the Ability to Lead: While rolling up your sleeves is required, you must demonstrate an aptitude to lead various functions and drive results. Previous management skills are a plus
• Be Tenacious and hungry
• Have an Exceptional ability to prioritize
• Be a Quick learner with the ability to execute following instructions
• Not be intimidated by getting thrown into the deep end

Responsibilities

• Execute growth and operating initiatives
• Obtain data, analyze it, and summarize findings
• Identify opportunities for improvement, and own the execution of those opportunities
• Provide cross-functional leadership
• Learn the intricacies of Idera’s world-class business model with a career development path to becoming a Brand General Manager
