Remote Chief Operations Officer

Summary

Join our team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee day-to-day operational functions, drive strategic initiatives, and lead a high-performing operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, preferably within retail or service industry, and experience working with private equity-backed companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience in an operational leadership role, preferably within the retail or service industry
• Experience working with private equity-backed companies is highly desirable
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all operational activities
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement operational strategies
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to monitor and improve efficiency, quality, and customer service
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
• Oversee the development and management of operational budgets
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers
• Support the company’s expansion efforts by overseeing the integration of new locations
