Claim Representative

Summary

Job opening for a Bodily Injury Claim Representative at Donegal Insurance Group. Position involves handling casualty claims, reporting to the Underwriting Department, and requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills with technical knowledge of claim handling procedures.

Requirements

• Experience handling claims in litigation required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance experience
• Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims as assigned by the Supervisor
• Monitor and direct file handling being performed by Independent Adjusters, Appraisers, and Defense Counsel
• Report all pertinent information to the Underwriting Department

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling claims in New Mexico and Texas preferred
