Summary

Job opening for a Bodily Injury Claim Representative at Donegal Insurance Group. Position involves handling claims in compliance with company standards, reporting to the Underwriting Department, and requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Experience handling claims in litigation required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of insurance experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to learn industry specific software applications applicable to performance of position responsibilities
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in written correspondence

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims as assigned by the Supervisor
• Monitor and direct file handling being performed by Independent Adjusters, Appraisers, and Defense Counsel
• Report all pertinent information to the Underwriting Department

Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling claims in Georgia and South Carolina preferred
