Claim Representative

Summary

Join Donegal Insurance Group as a remote Claim Representative in our Workers' Compensation unit! This role requires 3-5 years of experience handling Michigan workers' compensation claims. You will investigate, evaluate, and settle claims, ensuring compliance with company standards and providing excellent customer service. Manage files to timely closure, and work with Nurse Case Managers and Defense Counsel. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. The salary range is $70,000-$95,000 annually, and Donegal offers a comprehensive benefits package.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine compensability, pursue early return to work, issue indemnity and medical payments, manage Nurse Case Managers and Defense Counsel
• Set reserves and manage files to timely and appropriate closure

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in handling workers' compensation claims in Michigan is required and Indiana and/or Illinois would be a plus
