Summary
Join phData, a leading data stack company, as a Client Account Lead in Financial Services (Insurance). You will drive strategic growth and profitability, build executive relationships, and champion client outcomes. This role requires 10+ years of consulting experience in Financial Services with deep Insurance expertise. You will be responsible for $10–15M+ in annual bookings and will need to build strong relationships with C-level executives. The position involves significant client interaction and up to 50% travel. phData offers a remote-first work environment and various benefits.
Requirements
- 10+ years of consulting experience within Financial Services, with deep domain expertise in Insurance (e.g., P&C, Life, Reinsurance, Brokerage, Claims). In-house Insurance experience in a digital, data, or transformation role may also be considered
- Proven track record owning and growing strategic accounts, including responsibility for $10–15M+ in annual revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and influence strategic roadmaps across both IT and business stakeholders
- Credibility built on meaningful results—long tenure in a role where you drove significant revenue, retention, and/or transformation outcomes
- Experience working in matrixed organizations and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver client success
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, depending on client needs and business priorities
Responsibilities
- Drive Account Strategy: Lead a portfolio of Financial Services accounts with an emphasis on Insurance, creating and executing long-term growth plans in partnership with phData’s Go-to-Market, Delivery, and Partner teams
- Own Revenue & Profitability: Deliver $10–15M+ in annual bookings through both net-new and expansion work, ensuring profitable, scalable growth across your accounts
- Build Executive Relationships: Cultivate trusted advisor status with CxOs and senior business leaders; lead strategic discussions across business and IT stakeholders
- Champion Client Outcomes: Maintain ~40% utilization, staying close to the delivery of programs to ensure high-impact results and exceptional client satisfaction
- Elevate Our Brand: Represent phData at industry events, conferences, and panels, helping grow our presence and reputation within your vertical
- Leverage Ecosystem Partners: Activate and grow partnerships (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) to bring added value to clients and accelerate growth
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate across Go-to-Market, Delivery, Finance, and Product teams to align on account health, project success, and future opportunity
