Clinical Informatics Specialist

Requirements

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in healthcare informatics or a healthcare discipline
• Hold a valid PRINCE2 Foundation or higher certification
• Hold a valid Prosci Change Management Certification
• Have 10 years' experience working with stakeholders in a healthcare environment to implement changes to clinical workflow
• Have 10 years' experience working with stakeholders to elicit and document requirements and develop them into specifications or business process solutions
• Have 5 years' experience evaluating, developing, and implementing programs relating to infection prevention and control within an acute care setting
• Have 5 years' experience developing and delivering training for information systems to clinical users including nurses and physicians
• Have 5 years' experience implementing the Allscripts suite of products in an acute care setting
• Have 3 years' experience conducting and compiling privacy impact assessments for healthcare record systems to assess their compliance with provincial regulations
