Summary

Join our team as a dynamic Healthcare Trainer – EMR Navigation Specialist! This virtual assistant role involves developing and delivering engaging EMR training programs on NetHealth and WoundExpert systems. You will collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to optimize workflows and improve patient care. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on prior authorization experience and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include creating training materials, providing virtual support, and monitoring training effectiveness. A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Nursing, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in using and training on NetHealth and WoundExpert EMR systems
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in healthcare training or EMR navigation with a solid understanding of clinical workflows
  • Hands-on prior authorization experience, from either the patient or payer perspective
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create clear training materials and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions and materials for healthcare staff on using NetHealth and WoundExpert
  • Create video tutorials, guides, and documentation that facilitate smooth EMR navigation
  • Collaborate with the CMO and cross-functional teams to identify areas for operational improvement, using your insights from EMR usage and prior authorization experience to optimize workflows
  • Utilize your experience in managing prior authorizations to train staff on best practices, compliance, and efficient processing within the EMR system
  • Provide ongoing support to healthcare professionals, resolving issues and offering guidance on EMR navigation challenges in real-time
  • Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback, and update training content regularly to reflect system updates and regulatory changes
  • Maintain detailed records and report on outcomes to senior management
  • Work closely with IT, clinical, and operations teams to ensure training initiatives align with overall organizational goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with U.S. healthcare providers
  • Familiarity with additional EMR systems and healthcare IT solutions
  • Certification in healthcare informatics or a related field
  • Experience collaborating with executive leadership, including working directly with a CMO
