Join Carrum Health as a Clinical Operations Specialist and partner with the Patient Care Team to deliver exceptional patient experiences. You will support the team by providing comprehensive, non-medical support, acting as a clinical mentor, and collaborating with the Provider Operations Team. This role involves developing clinical training programs, implementing service standards, and serving as a clinical escalation point for complex situations. The position requires a minimum of three years of RN experience, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and experience in digital health. This full-time position offers the opportunity for remote work outside of Chicago and San Francisco. Requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years of RN experience in direct patient care with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 1-3 years of experience working in roles that impact, support, and/or directly affects the patient or end-users' experience on a digital health platform
- An aptitude for quality assurance and data-driven outcomes
- Strong analytical skills; able to effectively analyze and communicate data to drive high-value, actionable insights and meaningful change
- Have a strong working knowledge of general surgical procedures
- Commitment to providing the highest level of service through the right mix of empathy, professionalism, and integrity
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Appropriately handle confidential information and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with a wide range of stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Ensure a differentiated, patient-first experience by directly supporting the Patient Care Team throughout the Carrum process
- Partner with the Director of Operations to develop strategic, operational, and technological solutions that improve care quality and reduce costs
- Design and maintain clinical training programs to keep the Patient Care Team informed with the most current clinical and program updates
- Collaborate to implement standards that drive productivity, quality, and outstanding service
- Serve as the clinical escalation point for complex patient and provider (COE) situations
- Act as the primary clinical contact for the Patient Care Team, supporting sensitive cases with empathy and clinical insight
- Bring a proactive, flexible mindset and support new, clinically focused initiatives as the company continues to grow
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of self-funded employer benefit plans and an understanding of healthcare bundled payment models is a plus
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, and drive cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A natural self-starter who is inspired to think outside the box
