Summary

Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Product Owner to contribute to a specialty clinical software platform for Allergy Immunotherapy treatment. Collaborate with various teams, manage the product backlog, translate product strategy into user stories, and ensure alignment between business goals and clinical needs. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and help refine processes as the product scales. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience as a Product Owner in software development, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Prior experience in medical or healthcare software is preferred but not required. Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a software development organization
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering business value

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, engineering teams, clinicians, and business stakeholders
  • Own and manage the product backlog for a clinical software application supporting allergy immunotherapy workflows
  • Translate product strategy and customer feedback into clear user stories, requirements, and priorities for the development team
  • Ensure alignment between business goals, clinical user needs, and technical execution
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Help define and refine processes as the product scales into larger enterprise markets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical or healthcare software product ownership is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Curiosity and adaptability—you don’t need prior allergy immunotherapy knowledge; we’ll teach you the clinical side
