Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree combined with equivalent medical experience and 3+ years of clinical experience in ICU, ECMO, Transplant, Perfusion, or Organ Procurement
  • High flexibility and willingness to support sites across North America as needed
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and a service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time for site support, customer training, and corporate meetings
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and speak
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Occasionally required to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Must reside within one hour of a major airport hub to facilitate travel

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete didactic and hands-on training at OrganOx’s training center in Madison, NJ
  • Achieve OrganOx metra ® certification within the designated training plan and timeline
  • Train and support organ retrieval and transplant teams in the proper use of the OrganOx metra ®, ensuring compliance with OrganOx policies and procedures
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for approximately 15 days per month, including holidays and weekends, for both remote and onsite assistance
  • National travel to hospitals and Organ Procurement Organizations within and outside assigned territory as needed for hands-on support
  • Attend scheduled virtual meetings and ongoing education sessions
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to support site-specific needs, including but not limited to customer site visits
  • Organize initiation and refresher site visits, training sessions (in-person and remote), and centralized training events
  • Assist managers, directors, and other internal teams with various assignments, both remotely and onsite
  • Complete administrative tasks, including expense reporting, email correspondence, and other communications
  • Prepare case study reviews with guidance from senior colleagues
  • Work closely with liver transplant teams to collect data on organs perfused and preserved using the metra ®, contributing to the ongoing evaluation of product performance
  • Maintain current vendor credentialing requirements and successfully pass routine background checks and drug screenings
  • Represent OrganOx at local, regional, and national conferences and meetings, either in person or virtually, as a supporter, participant, or presenter
  • Develop and sustain positive relationships with end users at all levels
  • Ensure compliance with OrganOx’s quality policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of work
  • Adhere to OrganOx’s Code of Conduct and all other company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred Licensed RN, Respiratory Therapist, Perfusionist, Physician Assistant, or a degree in a health science-related field
  • Industry experience in the medical device sector
