Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC/LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Associate therapists are not applicable for this position at this time
  • Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
  • Experience with crisis intervention/de-escalation and safety/treatment planning
  • Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at-risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
  • Active state license in New York

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
  • Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
  • Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
  • Communicate cross-functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
  • Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
  • Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
  • Utilize active listening skills and evidence-based modalities in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
  • Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner

Preferred Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
