Summary
Join TimelyCare as a 1099 contracted therapist and provide remote mental health counseling services to college students. You will offer therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with students to address their needs. As a licensed professional, you'll utilize evidence-based modalities and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation. TimelyCare offers flexible hours, malpractice insurance, and compensation for late cancellations. The role requires a current Ohio license (LPCC, LMFT, or LISW) and experience with young adults. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations.
Requirements
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
- Active State License(s) in Ohio, specifically
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and active listening skills
- Experience with crisis intervention/deescalation and safety/treatment planning
- Background in providing services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, and/or experience working in community mental health, crisis triage, or a college counseling environment
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic counseling services and treatment planning to a primarily young adult population
- Document concurrently and submit HIPAA compliant documentation using TimelyCare's electronic health record
- Develop and submit treatment plans and progress notes following each session
- Communicate cross functionally with other teams/departments in order to support care continuation as needed
- Adhere to established standards for documentation quality and code of ethics
- Work with the student/client to establish and develop treatment goals and document accordingly
- Utilize active listening skills and evidence based modalities (SFBT, CBT, DBT, MI, ACT) in order to build rapport, establish boundaries, and progress student/client care
- Submit appropriate documentation in the EHR (the TimelyCare platform) in a punctual manner
- Prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the population we serve
- Able to remain calm and maintain composure during a potential high stress scenario
- Respond with empathy, professionalism, and meet clients where they are at
- Model respectful conduct with all students, peers, and support staff
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, LP/LCP)
