Cloud Architect - Principal

Join Mindera's world-class team as a Cloud Architect, designing and implementing complex solutions architectures on the Azure platform. You will evaluate existing systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical leadership. Responsibilities include developing architecture documentation, conducting design reviews, mentoring junior architects, and working with project leadership. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in cloud technologies, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DevOps practices. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role in a complex environment
• Experiencied with IDP (internal Development Plataform)
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly in Azure and expertise in cloud architecture, Landing Zones, Multi-tenant platform patterns and Governance
• Very experienced with Kubernetes - AKS and with using Terraform as IAC
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment strategies
• Strong understanding of Solutions architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
• In-depth knowledge of various architecture frameworks and methodologies
• Solid background in software development and infrastructure design
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions, ensuring compatibility and interoperability
• Provide technical leadership and strategy throughout the project lifecycle, from proof-of-concept to production
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines
• Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards
• Mentor and train junior architects and engineering teams, promoting best practices in system design and deployment
• Work closely with project C-level to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Stay updated on technology trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to recommend new systems and solutions
