Cloud System Engineer

Summary

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS, managing and optimizing Karpenter for cluster autoscaling, and implementing monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana. Responsibilities also include managing Kafka infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and security, and implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation. You will collaborate with development teams and troubleshoot complex issues. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/SysAdmin/Cloud System Engineer roles
• Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services
• Proficiency in Karpenter for cluster autoscaling
• Strong understanding of Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana
• Experience with Kafka and message queue architectures
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go)
• Infrastructure as Code expertise
• Containerization and orchestration technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS
• Manage and optimize Karpenter for intelligent cluster autoscaling
• Implement and configure monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana
• Manage and optimize Kafka message queue infrastructure and workers
• Ensure system reliability, performance, scale and security
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and operations
