Collections Representative

Requirements

• At least three years of previous Collections Experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Negotiation Skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to display empathy
• Understanding compliance regulations
• Empathy
• Flexibility and willingness to work overtime and alternative shifts when needed
• Familiarity with CRM (Zendesk, Freshdesk), Telephony systems, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Forms, Word, PowerPoint), and account management systems
• An understanding of consumer lending principles

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers to assist in resolving their account
• Work with customer to establish reasonable repayment terms
• Maintain detailed records of work actions
• Adhere to debt collections laws and regulations to ensure compliance requirements are met
• Contact customers to establish repayment options considering their financial situations to help resolve their accounts
