This remote role, based in the UK or EU (with optional office spaces in London or Warsaw), offers the chance to advise on complex commercial matters and navigate the evolving AI legal landscape. You will draft, negotiate, and close commercial transactions, partner with sales and business teams, stay informed on legal frameworks, and provide legal advice to cross-functional teams. Requirements

- JD with qualification to practice in the UK or EU; US qualification is a plus
- Based in the UK or EU
- 6+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house experience preferred), with at least 2 years focused on drafting and negotiating SaaS or technology agreements
- A deep understanding of enterprise SaaS agreements, software licensing, intellectual property, and data protection, with the ability to navigate and close complex commercial transactions
- Solid background in privacy and data protection law, with the ability to integrate these requirements into commercial agreements
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to advise internal stakeholders and engage externally with clients and partners
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and close complex commercial transactions with the companyβs customers, vendors, and strategic partners across diverse industries
- Partner closely with sales and business teams to develop and implement strategies that drive our high-growth, go-to-market initiatives
- Stay informed on evolving legal frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory developments, and apply this expertise into practical contract templates and guidance
- Provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice to cross-functional teams, ensuring business objectives align with legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop and enhance playbooks, policies, and best practices to improve efficiency in negotiations and contract management
- Contribute actively to the Legal Teamβs efforts to scale commercial functions while fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in non-English languages is a plus, with a preference for French and/or Spanish
