Summary

Join Moneyhub, a leading fintech company, as a Commercial Finance Business Partner for a 9-month fixed-term contract. This strategic role offers high autonomy and direct exposure to senior leadership. You will act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, translating financial data into actionable insights. Partner with these teams to structure deals, evaluate product roadmaps, and create insightful reporting for senior management. Champion financial literacy and identify process improvements to enhance reporting and automate workflows. This role requires a commercially astute individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in a similar role within a B2B SaaS, technology, or fintech environment. Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Finance Business Partner role, preferably within a B2B Saas, technology or fintech
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building relationships and explaining complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to influence the wider team to drive commercial outcomes

  • Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least three years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Deputy CFO you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, translating complex financial data into actionable insights that shape our commercial strategy
  • Partner with our Sales team to structure profitable enterprise deals and provide robust analysis on pricing, discounting, and commercial terms
  • Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to provide financial evaluation of our product roadmap, building compelling business cases for new features and technology projects, and tracking ROI to ensure our engineering efforts are aligned with commercial goals
  • Deliver data-driven storytelling, creating clear and insightful reporting for senior management that highlights key trends, risks, and opportunities across our product portfolio
  • Champion financial literacy across the business, empowering our colleagues to understanding the need to make commercially astute decisions every day
  • Identify and spearhead process improvements, seeking opportunities to enhance our reporting capabilities and automate financial workflows to support our continued growth
  • Enhance the use of Salesforce CRM by improving data quality, ensuring accurate and complete data entry, and optimising reporting capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with our tech stack (Salesforce, Xero, Translucent)
  • Experience working in a high-growth scale-up environment
  • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
