Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Proficient in leading through influence with peers and leadership
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent analytical skills and highly proficient with excel, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence decision-making at the executive level
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Sql, Looker and Alteryx
  • Experience in pharmacy economics in retail pharmacy, PBM or pharmaceutical

Responsibilities

  • Influence the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans
  • Interact closely with executive and senior leadership teams, providing strategic financial guidance and contributing to high-level decision-making processes
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop accurate forecasts and financial models. Specifically enhance margin analysis and reporting
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and recommend areas for improvement or optimization
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management, providing insights into key performance metrics and variances
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to provide financial guidance and support decision-making
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis processes
  • Mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific financial dynamics
  • Experience with advanced financial modeling techniques and proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct
