Summary
Join Allbirds as a Senior Manager of FP&A, contributing to a global footwear and apparel brand committed to sustainability. Lead and develop FP&A processes, build strong partnerships across the organization, and support company-wide planning and forecasting. You will assist in developing company vision and strategy, support monthly financial forecasting, and partner with various teams to drive financial and non-financial systems and reporting changes. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in corporate FP&A & Strategy, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant field
- 8+ years of experience in Finance
- 5-8+ years in progressive Corporate FP&A & Strategy roles
- Experience using business intelligence tools
- Experience with ERP system design and functionality
- Microsoft Excel expert
- Demonstrate organizational and leadership skills
- Strong analytical skills across the 3 financial statements, P&L, B/S, and Cash Flow
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Gsuite
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work independently on several projects simultaneously
- Resourceful, innovative, with a can-do attitude and attention to detail
- Work well with cross-functional teams to drive the company’s objectives

Responsibilities
- Lead, build, and develop FP&A processes and deliverables
- Support other key functions of Finance, Commercial, Product, and Marketing as part of the Strategic Finance & FP&A Team
- Build strong partnerships across the organization as a trusted advisor and team member
- Assist in the development of company vision and strategy, identifying business opportunities and watch-outs, and suggesting the optimal path to execute against and achieve company goals
- Support the long-range and annual planning processes, aligning with the company’s vision and goals, working with Senior Management and key business partners
- Support the monthly financial forecasting cycle by anticipating business changes and spotting trends, getting key stakeholders aligned on material inputs, completing input models, loading systems, producing reporting, insightful analysis, contingency plans, operational recommendations, etc
- Assist with the monthly accounting close
- Partner with Accounting, Tech, Analytics, Operations, and other appropriate teams to drive financial and non-financial systems and reporting changes
- Lead the preparation of business cases, monitor investment decisions, and performance
- Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends, providing variance and analysis-driven insights and feedback; actively seek to enhance the quality of efforts across the organization, proactively resolve issues, and implement change
- Drive financial education, accountability, and operational excellence with your business partners
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, initiating and sometimes leading that change within finance or cross-functionally across the organization
- Create insightful and actionable communications to key stakeholder groups (eg: investors, executives, BOD)
- Help design and maintain complex models/software
- Assist with internal control documentation, testing, and process changes
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or MBA
- Retail experience
- Footwear & Apparel industry experience
- SAP FI/CO/BI/BPC/MM/IM/Retail experience
- Experience managing the financials at a public multinational company
- Experience with SAP
