Summary

The job description is for a Commercial Solutions Engineer role at Hightouch. The role involves working closely with big-name companies to solve data-related problems, removing technical and business obstacles in front of a sale, advocating for customer interests, creating compelling technical content, and partnering with Account Executives. The candidate should have 2+ years of sales experience, at least 1 year of which is into mid-market companies, strong discovery and interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, high ambition, humility, experience selling Martech and/or Data Solutions, experience with Cloud Warehouses, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Modeling, APIs, and preferably with Customer Data Platforms. The salary range for this position is $160,000-$200,000 (70/30 split variable) USD per year which is location independent in accordance with their remote-first policy.

Requirements

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • At least 1 year of sales experience into mid-market companies
  • Strong discovery and interpersonal skills
  • Intellectual curiosity, high ambition and humility
  • Experience selling Martech and/or Data Solutions
  • Experience with the following: Cloud Warehouses, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Modeling, and APIs

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with big-name companies to solve some of their toughest problems
  • Remove technical and business-related obstacles in front of a sale
  • Advocate for customer interests to relevant internal teams
  • Create compelling technical content
