Requirements

  • 3 years of administrative experience

  • Laser attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent database management skills, Blackbaud/RE experience a plus
  • Able to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Exceptional customer-service and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated track record of coordinating meetings, schedules and events
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Professionalism, candor, grace and a sense of humor under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Manage the schedule and meetings of the VP, Marketing and Communications
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and calendars and prepare agendas and minutes for meetings
  • Assist in event coordination and support, specifically for the 50th anniversary campaign events and other organization events that support our programs and donor initiatives
  • Manage the team's communication and ticketing system HappyFox and ensure exceptional communication, deadlines, and project management
  • Update and maintain team Asana projects and support overall team project management
  • Maintain and manage inventory of SDF promotional items
  • Oversee and track department budget including check processing and credit card management and recording expenses
  • Support division mailings including printing and stuffing envelopes
  • Maintain and manage database contacts for outside partners, including media, elected officials, nonprofit and civic partners
