Summary
Join World Business Lenders (WBL) as the External Communications Supervisor and lead all external communications initiatives, including investor relations and marketing strategy. This remote contract/consultant position requires exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills, along with proficiency in design and business tools. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to align messaging with brand goals and business strategy, serving as a key point of contact for investors and managing investor due diligence processes. The role involves developing investor relations policies and procedures, collaborating with business units, supporting investor-related initiatives, and creating investor documents and reports. You will also support financial tasks and act as a liaison between WBL and external stakeholders. This is a full-time position with PTO available and a USD salary.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication, presentation skills and project management skills
- Proficiency in design and business tools (PowerPoint, Canva, Word, Excel)
- Excellent oral and written command of the English language
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for company investors/potential investors
- Spearhead and manage investor due diligence processes with professionalism and urgency
- Develop, draft, and maintain policies, procedures, forms, and communications for the Investor Relations department
- Collaborate closely with various business units to streamline communication and improve workflow efficiency
- Assist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement/monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Support the planning and rollout of investor-related initiatives by tracking progress, managing milestones, and reporting on KPIs
- Create and maintain investor documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Support financial tasks including invoice submission and administrative reporting as needed
- Monitor project timelines, flag risks or obstacles early, and support resolution/escalation processes
- Take on ad hoc projects and administrative tasks to support business continuity and growth
- Serve as a key support to the CAO in all investor relations functions
- Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including investors and investment banks
- Lead the creation, refinement, and delivery of investor-facing materials such as pitch decks, business updates, and reports
- Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the companyβs vision and strategic goals
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and precision in all communications
- Track and manage timelines for IR projects, meetings, and follow-ups
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative/coordinator role at an investment bank
- Impeccable communication skills and sense of urgency
