Summary

This job description is for a Compliance Specialist position at Binance's LATAM division. The role requires 2+ years of experience in a compliance-related role, proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for corporate onboarding cases, identifying improvements to internal procedures, conducting customer risk assessments, and participating in AML/CFT training programs.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years experience in a compliance-related role with a substantial knowledge of relevant rules and regulations and the day-to-day compliance affairs
• Strong experience in corporate onboarding and different corporate structure types
• Portuguese, English and Spanish are required
• Demonstrated ability to write effectively
• Superior organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, investigative skills & detailed orientated

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert for Corporate onboarding cases
• Take the lead on adhoc QA checks to support the LATAM institutional customers-related teams
• Identify and propose improvements to internal procedures and processes, especially related to institutional customers
• Support on enhancements in KYB, EDD, TM, SAR, HRC management, risk assessments, and audit procedures
• Support LATAM’s compliance controls and Periodic Review of institutional customers for LATAM
• Work with the LATAM MLRO’s for ongoing assessments, assisting with compliance reviews, and ongoing or ad hoc reviews
• Work closely with MLRO’s, Account Managers/VIP and other key stakeholders within the business
• Conduct customer risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhanced due diligence (EDD)
• Identification and documentation of unusual activity or AML flags
• Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day to day work requirements
