Summary
Join Pathpoint's expanding Operational Servicing team as a Compliance Associate! This remote, US-based role involves partnering with internal and external teams to resolve compliance issues, reviewing inspection findings, maintaining accurate records, and staying updated on relevant regulations. You will also support training efforts, identify process enhancements, and collaborate with other departments to improve client service. This role requires experience in a compliance-related field, E&S insurance, and knowledge of surplus market regulations. Preferred qualifications include experience managing regulatory issues, reviewing inspection findings, commercial underwriting, and familiarity with specific software.
Requirements
- Experience working in a compliance-related role, with experience in either auditing, risk management, or a related field
- Experience with E&S insurance service and operations
- Knowledge of compliance regulations in the surplus market
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams and agency partners to facilitate the resolution of flagged filings and post-inspection findings
- Reviewing and execute on inspection findings through recommendation clearance, midterm rerates, and identifying items that push a risk out of carrier appetite
- Inspection ordering in special cases and reordering a result of a previous non-productive inspection
- Maintain accurate records of flagged filings and inspection findings for audits and internal reviews
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
- Support training efforts by providing guidance to aiding departments regarding compliance requirements and best practices
- Identify and implement process enhancements to reduce the frequency of flagged filings and improve overall compliance efficiency
- Assist in improving client service through collaboration with other departments (Financial Operations, Sales, Underwriting)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing and resolving regulatory issues and flagged filings
- Experience in reviewing inspection findings and verifying that all compliance requirements have been satisfied
- Commercial Underwriting experience
- Experience using Notion, Salesforce, Inscipher, Front
