Responsibilities
- Provide training on Configuration Management
- Include terminal learning objectives such as identifying and discussing differences and similarities between Software and Hardware Configuration Management
- Discuss how Configuration Management is beneficial to the Aerospace and Defense Industries
- Discuss what is necessary to create a successful Configuration Management program
- Discuss the tools necessary for a Configuration Manager
- Understand how to utilize the tools necessary to operate a Configuration Management program
- Awareness of Configuration Management best practices for data collection and organization
- Proper practices and procedures for managing data changes and updates
- Familiarization with the following Configuration Management standards: CMII, ANSI/EIA 649, SAE 649B-1, MIL-STD-973, EIA 86B, MIL-STD4-480B, MIL-HDBK-61A
- Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and intensive hands-on practice exercises for the course
- Provide two sessions of training within 90 days of request
- Make training courses available at Corpus Christi Army Depot, contractor's facility, or online depending on Government's needs
- Conduct a not less than 15 question written pre-test and provide results to the Course Manager
- Conduct a not less than 15 question written post-test and provide results to the Course Manager
- Provide a written after-action report summarizing each student's overall performance upon completion of the course
