Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in CMS management or a similar role
  • Proficient in CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, etc.) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) for tracking content performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of digital content including planning, creation, editing, publishing, and archiving across various platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla)
  • Administer and optimize the CMS, ensuring user roles and permissions are properly configured and maintained
  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and enhance user experience, SEO, and engagement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, IT, and external vendors to ensure cohesive content management processes
  • Review and edit content for accuracy, quality, consistency, and brand standards. Ensure all content adheres to best practices for accessibility and SEO
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, user behavior, and content engagement. Utilize data insights to make informed recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and support for staff on CMS best practices and usage, encouraging team members to contribute effectively to content management
  • Develop and maintain content governance policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with content migration and digital asset management
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and web design
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite
  • Certification or training in content management, SEO, or digital marketing
