Consolidations Manager

Summary

Join Evergreen Services Group as an Accountant to solidify and expand our capabilities within our Controllership function. As a key player in our Finance and Accounting team, you will support initiatives to achieve company-wide goals over the next few years.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably within a private equity or a public accounting firm serving private equity clients
• Experience with international subsidiaries is desired
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Previous experience in private equity, M&A transaction advisory, and/or investment banking
• Mastery of Microsoft Excel and expert modeling skills
• High EQ and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an Organization
• Superior financial acumen and data visualization skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the company's annual and quarterly reporting requirements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles in the consolidation of financial information
• Envision and build a financial reporting structure to support the company's growth initiatives
• Rebuild existing financial reporting responsibilities and elimination journal where necessary
• Align intercompany balances with various accounting professionals
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for Senior Management, lenders and the Board
• Assist in implementation of an enterprise resource planning tool to increase the speed and accuracy of reporting
• Assist with onboarding new acquisitions to financial reporting requirements of Evergreen
• Support portfolio company finance leaders in interpretation of accounting guidance and impact on financial reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CFA a plus, but not required
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, including Power BI, and Microsoft Business Central a plus
