Summary
Join Verra Mobility as a Construction Manager and play a key role in managing construction projects for photo enforcement systems. You will oversee construction activities, ensuring timelines and quality are met. Responsibilities include working with subcontractors, inspectors, and engineers; completing site surveys; reviewing plans; and providing regular status reports. Strategic oversight to drive efficiencies and process maturity is also expected. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four or more years of experience. Strong problem-solving, communication, and supervision skills are essential. Travel up to 20% is required.
Requirements
- Have a Bachelorβs degree in Construction/Engineering, relevant field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate construction projects
- Work with sub-contractors, inspectors, and engineers to ensure proper installation of photo enforcement systems, meeting ADA requirements and municipality specific codes
- Complete onsite surveys to provide drafting personnel the necessary details to prepare print submittals, equipment placement, utility locations
- Review plans for construction and send out for estimates from licensed local sub-contractors
- Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
- Set construction schedules and project timelines
- Provide regular status reports detailing ongoing construction inclusive of labor and material costs
- Ensure necessary communication and other prerequisites for construction projects are obtained
- Perform periodic inspections of ongoing construction to confirm quality of work, adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and timelines being met
- Resolve issues regarding utility conflicts; set onsite meetings or print review
- Assist contractor in securing necessary permits for construction
- Keep open channels of communication between DOT, municipalities, and contractor
- Coordinate with utilities to provide system power and communications delivery
- Work well in a team and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Perform any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Have experience with Office products like Excel, PowerPoint to generate reports
- Have familiarity with construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry standards
- Be proficient in construction management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD)
- Have experience in project scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation
- Have a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Have OSHA or other safety training certifications
