Construction Project Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Project Coordinator/Project Engineer in the construction industry with Essel Inc., responsible for assisting the project manager and team with project-related tasks. The candidate should have an understanding of project life cycles, technical construction blueprints, and other project documents as well as skilled trades. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Ensure all aspects of the project plan is moving forward to meet deadlines
• Responsible for RFIs, submittals and change order requests
• Processes owner billings and assist with project related budget needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
