Summary
The job is for a Consultant specializing in process development and improvement for diverse clients. The consultant will analyze, optimize, and oversee the implementation of process improvement recommendations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with strong analysis skills, excellent communication, and data analytics expertise.
Requirements
- Undergraduate Degree in technical field with two years of professional experience, or Graduate Degree, or equivalent in combination of education and/or experience
- Strong skills in presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated success in analysis driven problem solving

Responsibilities
- Manages and implements process improvement initiatives within their assigned projects
- The Consultant is the primary resource to project teams in support of all process improvement initiatives
- Works with the project team and interacts with the client to do process mapping, UML modeling, flow design, and analysis to identify process improvement requirements
- Designs and produces system and process improvement artifacts including process maps, standard work instructions and standard work aids
- Oversees the implementation of the system and process improvement recommendations with the client and works with other consultants to coordinate all facets of system and process improvement initiatives
- Mentors and coaches team members on the fundamentals of business process and UML modeling, Lean/Toyota Production System, business process engineering, and similar areas of knowledge
- Develops new knowledge in system and process improvement to support client initiatives
- Data analytics and metrics development. Develops Key Performance Indicators for the current state, and tracks KPIs during and after implementation of process improvement recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and SDLC (System Development Life-cycle) processes preferred
- Understanding of tools and techniques required to effectively develop or improve business processes. Demonstrated knowledge and experience using process improvement tools and techniques to drive organizational change
- Prior experience in Lean, Visual Controls, Toyota Production System, or process design, and re-engineering strongly desired
- Knowledge of utility, or construction, or healthcare industry preferred
- Knowledge of process modeling and process diagramming software and tools
