Summary

Join Elastic as a Consulting Architect, Search and contribute to the success of Elastic and its customers by delivering Elastic solutions and applying expertise in the Elastic Stack. Collaborate with diverse teams, including services, engineering, and sales, to conduct workshops, design roadmaps, and plan capacities. Build lasting customer relationships, championing their needs and ensuring their voices are heard. Create compelling proof-of-concepts showcasing the value of the Elastic Stack, accelerating solution adoption, optimizing queries, and delivering fast search and analytics. Work closely with engineering, product management, and support teams to provide valuable feedback and shape products and services. Assess technical aspects, identify risks, and tailor engagements effectively with the sales team.

Requirements

• Validated experience as a Search Engineer or Search Architect, with a solid grasp of Elastic, Vector Search, and GenAI technologies
• Deep understanding of E-Commerce search solutions, query development, relevancy tuning, and implementing Natural Language Processing (NLP) use cases
• A background in open-source machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, backed by a degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene
• A genuine passion for open-source technology and proficiency in at least one programming language
• Strong knowledge of large distributed systems and application infrastructure
• Flexibility to travel occasionally for business needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver Elastic solutions and apply expertise in the Elastic Stack to drive real, tangible value for clients
• Conduct workshops that map out strategies, design roadmaps, and plan capacities in environments critical to customers' success
• Build lasting relationships with customers, champion their needs, and ensure their voices are heard
• Create captivating proof-of-concepts that highlight the value proposition of the Elastic Stack and its solutions
• Accelerate the adoption of Elastic solutions, optimize queries, fine-tune clusters, and deliver lightning-fast search and analytics at scale
• Work closely with engineering, product management, and support teams, ensuring insights and feedback from the field shape products and services
• Assess technical aspects, identify risks, and seize opportunities to tailor engagements effectively alongside the sales team

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 consulting
• Elastic Certified Engineer certification
• Proficiency in Ansible, JavaScript, Terraform, ECK, or Kubernetes
• Expertise in machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Deep understanding of Java and Linux/Unix environments
• Contributing to open-source projects or documentation
