Summary

Join Thrive Market's Organic Social team as a Content Creator & Coordinator! You will create engaging social media content focused on video, food, recipes, and wellness, driving awareness and brand loyalty. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with Thrive Market's mission and voice. This role requires strong video editing skills, experience with various social media platforms, and a passion for healthy living. The position is a contract role, offering 15-20 hours per week at an hourly rate of $35-$45.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation for social media
  • Strong experience creating content for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat
  • Proficient in video and audio editing tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive creative decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, produce, and execute engaging content across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, etc.) with a focus on video, food, recipes, parent-centered content, and wellness
  • Be comfortable creating content both in front of and behind the camera
  • Take projects from concept through to execution—working across various mediums (static images, carousels, and short-form video) in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain a cohesive content calendar that aligns with our broader marketing strategy, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and platform-appropriate
  • Work with external creators to produce UGC content that aligns with our content pillars
  • Edit video and audio content to deliver polished, engaging media for social channels
  • Partner with design, video, and marketing teams to schedule and post content according to the social media calendar
  • Ensure all content aligns with Thrive Market’s voice and tone, collaborating with influencers and brand ambassadors when applicable
  • Craft compelling, brand-consistent copy that drives engagement and conversions, including captions, infographics, and scripts
  • Attend in-person events (photo/video shoots, food drives, etc.) to capture authentic content
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to bring fresh, innovative ideas for social media activations

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong interest in food, healthy living, and sustainability
  • Experience with recipe development and cooking
  • Familiarity with relevant influencers and content creators
  • A keen eye for design and branding
  • Copywriting experience
