Summary

Join Earnest as a Content Operations Specialist and lead end-to-end content publishing workflows, managing blog and webpage updates, and coordinating cross-functional teams. You will oversee legal and compliance processes, manage partner-facing marketing asset workflows, and organize digital assets. The role also involves tracking content performance, managing vendor operations, and using data insights to improve workflows. This position requires 3+ years of experience creating consumer content and 2+ years of experience with web traffic metrics, HTML, and web publishing. The ideal candidate is operationally excellent, process-driven, collaborative, detail-oriented, and data-informed. The role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Salt Lake City with a flexible remote work option, requiring monthly visits to the office.

Requirements

  • 3+ years creating consumer content; 2+ years with web traffic metrics, HTML, and web publishing
  • Operationally excellent, process-driven, experienced in complex workflows, tight deadlines, and streamlining content ops via CMS (e.g., Storyblok), DAM, and legal/compliance
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, skilled at cross-functional coordination (creative, legal, partner, freelance) for quality, compliant digital content
  • Data-informed, mission-aligned, optimizing publishing with web traffic metrics, passionate about education access through content
  • Willingness to travel to the Oakland office or SLC office depending on your location monthly to collaborate with other Earnies

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end content publishing workflows, managing blog and webpage updates, coordinating cross-functional teams, and tracking key performance metrics like publishing velocity and content freshness
  • Oversee legal and compliance processes, serving as the primary point of contact for reviews, implementing required edits, and ensuring all content meets regulatory standards and disclosure requirements
  • Manage partner-facing marketing asset workflows, including submission, review, and revisions with bank partnersโ€”ensuring timely delivery and SLA adherence across collaborative stakeholders
  • Organize and maintain digital assets, optimizing Brandfolder and Google Drive systems for efficient retrieval, while supporting updates to web pages and landing content across digital channels
  • Track content performance and manage vendor operations, using data insights to improve workflows, while coordinating freelancers, processing invoices, and ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Storyblok, Airtable, or similar content management and workflow tools
  • Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams, particularly in regulated industries like financial services or education
