Summary

Join cargo.one as a Content Operations Specialist to lead high-impact content workflows and scale content ingestion and master data processes. You will ensure the structured ingestion, validation, and delivery of complex airline data across multiple geographies and carriers. This strategic, hands-on role requires expertise in operational workflows, content systems, and air freight industry nuances. The position involves owning end-to-end content workflows, ensuring data integrity, optimizing ingestion processes, conducting quality control, collaborating with various teams, identifying automation opportunities, and liaising with stakeholders. The company offers a remote-first culture across Europe with visa support options in Germany. Requirements

  • You have 3+ years of experience in content operations or master data management
  • Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets skills and a deep appreciation for structured data, including a strong understanding of data quality principles and the impact of data representation (e.g., NULL vs. zero) on system behaviour
  • You have experience navigating high-volume content workflows
  • You are highly organised and can lead process improvements from idea to execution
  • Youโ€™re comfortable mentoring others and sharing best practices

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end content workflows for high-priority rate and routing data
  • Ensure the integrity and logical consistency of master data, understanding its downstream impact on reporting, analytics, and partner-facing systems
  • Optimise ingestion processes, tools, and documentation for scale
  • Conduct in-depth quality control and resolve complex data inconsistencies
  • Work closely with automation, product, and partner operations teams
  • Identify automation opportunities and collaborate on tooling improvements
  • Document and evolve standards and playbooks across workflows
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational alignment
  • Analyse operational performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain structured datasets and master data quality across systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • If you've worked in air freight, logistics, or airline operations (e.g., as a support or service agent), that would be a serious asset
  • Youโ€™re comfortable working with ticketing platforms (e.g., Zendesk) and documentation tools
