Requirements

• Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in the finance or investment sector
• Understanding of financial industry, including pensions, ISAs, funds, investing and personal finance
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Research, write and edit a variety of content for retail investor audience
• Write top-quality copy to deadlines
• Simplify complex investment concepts into easy-to-understand language for diverse audiences
• Optimise content for SEO to increase organic visibility and traffic
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments and financial news to ensure timely and relevant content
• Maintain and adhere to the brand’s tone, style, and content guidelines
• Formulate new content ideas that are in line with AJ Bell’s business objectives
• Analyse content performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies and improve engagement
• Potential to contribute to the AJ Bell podcasts, videos and webinars, where required
• Support and enable the business to deliver good outcomes for retail customers by helping achieve any regulatory requirements, including consumer duty
