Summary

Join our team as a Contract Specialist to manage government contracts from initiation to completion. You will oversee contract administration, handle project financial controls, and manage the GSA contract catalog. This role requires ensuring compliance, financial accuracy, and timely deliverables. Responsibilities include contract administration, financial analysis, invoicing, GSA compliance, data calls and SAM management, compliance and governance, and general support. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of government contracting experience, and strong financial analysis skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the government contracting industry (prime and subcontracting), with expertise in GSA schedules (GWACs, BPAs, IDIQs), and experience with fixed-price, time-and-materials, and cost-reimbursable contracts
  • Strong background in end-to-end contract administration and subcontract management
  • Proficient in financial analysis, cost reporting, and project tracking
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets/Excel), QuickBooks, Notion, and Slack
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Understanding of ISO requirements and compliance processes
  • Familiarity with Supplier Management practices
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

  • Organize and track correspondence, contract modifications, and other relevant documents using Google Drive. Maintain an up-to-date master list of contracts, including key details such as dates, funding, and other essential information
  • Perform financial analysis for government contracts, preparing and maintaining customer financial status reports, including estimates at completion and budget variance reports. Collaborate with project teams to ensure contracts are financially compliant
  • Work closely with program managers to ensure invoicing data is accurate, including subcontractor costs and hours. Prepare and submit timely invoices to both government and commercial customers, and coordinate with accounting to verify project codes, billings, and historical data
  • Serve as the primary authorized negotiator for the GSA contract. Submit sales reports, pay applicable fees, and manage modifications to adjust pricing and labor categories. Ensure adherence to GSA and company policies, including discount rules. Maintain accurate historical data and contract files
  • Support business development by assisting with data calls, Reps and Certs, and pricing compliance exercises. Manage updates to SAM registrations, FAR reports, and NAICS codes. Submit Service Contract Data Reports using maintained financial data
  • Contribute to the development of governance processes and training materials. Assist in ISO-related activities, including participation in ISO audits and maintaining compliance with regulatory and financial controls
  • Provide additional assistance as required to ensure that contracts are managed effectively and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Support internal and external audits as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with government invoicing systems such as PIEE/WAWF is preferred
