Contracts Counsel

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience
• A JD degree and experience in commercial law, including contract negotiation and management, is highly recommended
• Extensive experience representing clients in the software and/or professional services related industries
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills are required
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice, align legal strategies with business goals, and collaborate across departments to foster business growth
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Assist with negotiations, drafting and reviewing business contracts, including but not limited to sales agreements and vendor contracts
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle
• Conduct, reviews, interpret, and analyze legal information and maintain a basic understanding of legal principles
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and legal colleagues to solve problems, build partnerships, and close deals efficiently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work a plus
