Summary
Join Abnormal Security as a Contracts Manager and play a critical role in building the procurement function's capability and standards. You will manage a high volume of agreements, negotiating and executing contracts from initiation to completion. Collaborate with legal, finance, and business units to ensure contracts align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This role requires leveraging contract automation tools, managing vendor relationships, and developing performance metrics. You will also train internal teams on contract management processes. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating contracts with at least 3 years at high growth cybersecurity or SaaS company(s)
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract terms, and risk management principles
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements related to procurement and contract management
- Experience independently drafting, negotiating, and interpreting legal terms, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage a high volume of inbound agreements
- Proficiency in SpotDraft , Coupa , or similar contract and procurement management tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with all key stakeholders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end management of procurement contracts, including drafting, redlining, negotiation, execution, and renewal
- Leverage tools like SpotDraft for contract automation and Coupa for procurement operations to improve contract visibility, compliance, and spend management
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, compliance, and business units to ensure contracts meet operational and regulatory requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are adhered to and issues are resolved promptly
- Ensure all contracts align with internal procurement policies, governance frameworks, and industry best practices
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track contract performance, renewals, and cost savings, providing regular updates to senior management
- Train internal teams on contract management processes and tools, ensuring adoption and effective use of technology
- Serve as the liaison between the Commercial Legal team and Procurement team and other business units to review inbound agreements
- Ability to evaluate non-standard requests and determine where they fit in an existing process and develop a vision to create a process for resolving such non-standard requests
- Establish, maintain and support processes to ensure compliance with internal policies
