Summary

Join Arlo Solutions as a Contracts Specialist to play a pivotal role in contract negotiation, compliance management, and customer relations. This remote position will work with the Program Management Office and other functions in areas such as contract negotiation, review, and administration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in government contracts; highly preferred ideally 3-5 years of experience in government contracts, or alternatively 3-5 years of experience in proposal management (not coordination)
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex contractual issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in contract drafting, review, and compliance monitoring
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an agile and lean work environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and contributing to a collaborative team culture

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Program Management Office and other functions in the areas of contract negotiation, contract review, and administration
  • Ensure compliance with contracting policies, laws, and regulations including, but not limited to, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements, Cost Accounting Standards, Export Administration Regulations, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations
  • Perform as point-of-contact for assigned customer portfolio and serve as the main customer interface for all contract related matters. Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and monitor the performance of contracts and agreements for conformance to the original proposal and to ensure that terms and conditions are met. Analyze and concisely summarize contractual obligations, commitments, and performance. Coordinate flow-downs of terms and conditions with the necessary functional departments. Analyze the impact of modifications and revisions to contract terms and prepare recommendations and risk reviews for management. Assist with preparation of REAs and claims. Monitor and respond to CPARs. Coordinate contract closeout requirements
  • Maintain business systems for accurate tracking
  • Prepare and review contracts, ensuring they align with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate with legal and other stakeholders to address any concerns or modifications. Review, draft, and negotiate pre-award related contractual agreements to include NDAs, TAs, Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), Software License Agreements (SLAs), and Software Reseller Agreements
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to closure. Ensure adherence to timelines, deliverables, and contract terms
  • Facilitate the contract approval process by coordinating with relevant internal departments and obtaining necessary approvals
  • Monitor contracts for compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and other relevant standards. Identify and address any compliance issues as they arise
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external parties regarding contract-related inquiries. Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide the highest customer service experience to our external customers and internal customers
  • Maintain accurate and organized contract records, including amendments, correspondence, and other related documents. Ensure documents are easily accessible for auditing purposes
  • Generate reports on contract status, milestones, and other relevant metrics as needed. Provide regular updates to management and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate across other departments, including Billing, Finance, Procurement Pricing, and Compliance. Collaborate with other members of the Contracts Department to identify and consolidate critical contract data. Coordinate with Program Management to submit CDRL data deliverables to customers
